Courageous Persuaders Scholarship

The Courageous Persuaders Scholarship contest is an opportunity for students, grades 9-12, to compete for a scholarship of $3,000. The really intersting part is the method of competition. Students will be judged based on a 30 second video they create. Youtube anyone? As an added benefit, the winner will have the chance to work with professionals to improve their video, and ultimately see it aired on TV. This sounds like fun, and winning would look great on any college application, but can you imagine the impact this could have for a student interested in studying and ultimately working in a related field? Students may submit more than one video. The deadline for submission is February 11, 2009.
