The Kohl’s Kids Who Care Scholarship Program is open to students ages 6-18 whose volunteer efforts have made a difference for others. Prizes will range from $50 Kohl's gift cards all the way up to ten awards of $5,000 each to students from across the nation. (FYI, students will compete in two age groups--ages 6-12 and 13-18). A couple of the rules require that the student has not graduated from high school by March 15th, and that the volunteer work must not have been for the exclusive benefit of a family member.Nominations begin on February 1 and end on March 15, 2009. More complete information, including a link to nominate a student, are available on the Kohl’s Kids Who Care Scholarship Program web site. | |
