The 2010 "Beyond Oil" College Essay Contest offers any student enrolled at an accredited undergraduate institution the chance to compete for prizes of $250, $500, and $1,000.
To enter, students must submit an essay of 800-1,500 words on the topic "What is a viable alternative to fossil fuels?" They must also be registered users of Lafango.com. As always, don't give away more privacy than you want to just to make this work.
The deadline to enter is December 01, 2010. Voting is from December 3rd to December 22nd. You can find complete information and enter online here.
