AXA Achievement Scholarships for 2011

The AXA Achievement Scholarships are an opportunity for students to win up to $25,000 to help with their educational expenses. 52 winners from across the country will win $10,000 each. 10 of those will be selected as national winners and received an additional $15,000 each.

The Axa foundation looks for certain qualities in their scholarship winners. These include:
  • "Ambition and drive
  • Determination to set and reach goals
  • Respect for self, family and community
  • Ability to succeed in college"
The AXA Achievers Scholarships are very competitive. Some of their past winners have done things such as setting up a food bank designing a science curriculum and starting nonprofit organizations. Clearly, this is a very competitive scholarship. Still, someone has to win.

So if you're an outstanding student, and a real asset to your community, this may be a great chance to help pay for your college education.

Please note that while the deadline to apply is December 1, 2011, only the first 12,000 applications will be considered. That tells me if you want to apply for this scholarship, now is the time to do it.

You can find more information and the link to begin your application online on the AXA Achievement Scholarship webpage.
