The Lowe's Scholarships

The Lowe's Scholarships are actually 352 scholarships of $1,000, 22 scholarships of $5,000, and a national grand prize of $15,000.  General eligibility is based on being a high school senior plannig to attend a 2 or 4 year college in the U.S. Selection is based on academics, community involvement, and leadership. Prospective applicants can find more information and links at the Lowe's Scholarship web page. The links are a little strange, leading thru a redirect page and to the page of the company which apparently handles the processing of this and other scholarships. Don't forget that you'll need the code "LOWES" at that page. Note: According to Scholarships.com, the deadline is March 15, 2009. I can't seem to confirm that anywhere else.
