| The Reconnecting the Circle Essay Contest is open students, grades 9-12, from across the United States. This year students must submit an essay addressing “Why is it important to understand patriotism in Indian Country.” A maximum of 10 winners will receive a prize of $10,000. Entry forms, complete rules, and more information are available at the Reconnecting the Circle web site. The deadline to enter is January 23, 2009. | |
