Phi Delta Kappa 2009 Prospective Educator Scholarship

Phi Delta Kappa 2009 Prospective Educator Scholarship is for students who are prospective educators and have a link to Phi Delta Kappa, a professional association of educators. Don't click away too quickly though, as there are multiple ways to establish this link including membership, sponsorship by a member, sponsorship by a chapter, and more. From what I can tell, there were over thirty 2008 winners of scholarships ranging from $500-1,700. If I read this correctly, the size of the award is determined by the individual chapter awarding it. I am guessing that awards would most likely be similar this year. Based on my reading of the PDK web site, selection criteria are not entirely clear, but include an application, an essay, your transcript, and letters of recommendation.
